Teacher, 50, resigns after OnlyFans account was discovered by officials

An Ohio teacher has left her job after school officials found out she was posting content on OnlyFans.

Jennifer Ruziscka had worked as an English teacher for nearly 30 years at Springfield Local School District. But earlier this year, the school discovered that she had been creating content for sites like OnlyFans and Fansly.

She was placed on administrative leave on January 29, just days after her last day at the school. A hearing was set for January 30, but Jennifer resigned the day before.

She was accused of “participating in conduct unbecoming of a professional educator.”

Along with teaching English, Jennifer was also a cheerleading coach and yearbook advisor. She was earning $74,720 at the time of her resignation, according to the New York Post.

Jennifer later released a statement reflecting on her teaching career.

“I was honored to teach 9th grade English at SHS, where I worked for nearly three decades,” she said, as reported by 13 Action News. “Teaching can be a thankless job, but I was recognized for my innovation, dedication, and performance.”

She continued: “My reputation was strong as someone who put students first, went beyond expectations, and created an engaging learning environment where students felt valued and motivated.”

Jennifer also addressed why she made the decision to leave her job.

“Many people have questioned why I would risk a position I cared about so much. While I could give specific details, doing so would affect someone else’s reputation,” she explained.

“Enough damage has already been done, and I don’t want to bring unwanted attention to someone else.”

She also referenced the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, saying, “Atticus Finch tells Scout, ‘You never really understand a person until you consider things from their point of view.’”

Jennifer added, “I have always tried to understand others, and I hope people will now try to understand me.”

Although she is no longer teaching, her LinkedIn profile states she now works as an online tutor for students in grades 7-12.

OnlyFans attracts users from across the globe.

She is not the first teacher to leave education due to OnlyFans—and likely won’t be the last.
