Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Wilson, has made serious claims about her father, saying he played a financial role in determining that she would be born male.
Her statements have sparked debates online. Vivian, who is transgender, shared her thoughts on social media, expressing frustration about how her assigned sex at birth was treated.

She believes that financial decisions influenced the circumstances of her birth. In her post, she explained that she felt like her identity had been tied to money rather than simply being who she was.
Vivian wrote: “My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold. That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction.”
Musk has made it clear in the past that he does not always agree with her choices. Meanwhile, Vivian has continued to voice her own perspective. The tension between them has resulted in several public exchanges.
Last year, Musk claimed that he had been “tricked” into allowing her to receive medical care related to her gender transition. In response, Vivian denied his claim and made it clear that she would not stay silent about it.

She stated: “I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged. Which I’m not going to do because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”
After her statement, many of her followers showed support. Some praised her for speaking out, while others debated whether her claims should be proven legally.
Musk has a large family, with at least 13 children. His first five children were born through in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is unclear whether he had any influence over selecting the sex of these children.

Vivian’s statements raise questions about the role parents should have in shaping their children’s identities. However, she has not shared details about how she came to her conclusions.
