During a White House press briefing, Elon Musk’s 4-year-old son, X, grabbed attention when he reportedly told President Trump to “shush.”
While Musk was discussing a new executive order, X Æ A-Xii, also known as X, became the unexpected focus. His childlike behavior, including exploring the Resolute Desk and other playful antics, quickly sparked online discussion.

Before getting into policy, Trump introduced X with praise. “This is X, and he’s a great guy. High IQ. High-IQ individual,” he said. X, however, seemed more interested in his surroundings. He picked his nose and wandered around, acting like any curious child.
The biggest moment came when X seemed to say something to Trump. Some online users believe he told the former president to “shush your mouth,” while others claim he said, “You’re not the president… you need to go away.”
This sparked debates across social media. Some found it funny, while others questioned if X was even speaking to Trump.

One Twitter user posted, “I can’t believe what I just saw! Musk’s son wiped his boogers on the Oval Office desk, Trump gave him a side-eye, and then the kid told him to shut up? What is happening?”
Another joked, “This might be the best video ever! X puts Trump in his place and then wipes a booger on the desk.”
But not everyone agreed that X was talking to Trump. Some users pointed out that he was facing reporters, not Trump, when he spoke. “He wasn’t even looking at Trump. He was looking at the reporters,” one person noted.
Despite the distraction, Musk stayed calm. At one point, X stuck his fingers in Musk’s ears. Laughing, Musk said, “Sorry for this. I might enjoy this otherwise, but he’s sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff.”
The internet remains divided on what exactly happened, but one thing is clear—X stole the show.
