Woman Who Spent $120k Modifying Her Body Shares Photo Of Herself Before Transformation

Amber Luke, a body modification enthusiast from Brisbane, shared a photo of herself before spending $120,000 on extreme changes.

She spent $50,000 on tattoos, including a risky procedure where blue ink was injected into her eyeballs. It left her blind for three weeks. She also spent $70,000 on other modifications, such as cheek and lip fillers, a tongue split, pointed ear implants, breast augmentation, and a Brazilian butt lift.

Before all these changes, Amber had only a small tattoo on her collarbone and a tiny piercing. She posted an old photo, writing, “No face tattoos, just a dermal [piercing]. We’ve all got to start somewhere.”

Amber also shared a picture of herself at 18 years old, looking completely different. She described how she felt lost and deeply unhappy at that time. “I was numb. I hated myself most of the time,” she wrote. But over the years, she worked on herself and said she now feels stronger and more confident.

One of the most extreme procedures she had was getting her eyeballs tattooed. She explained how painful it was, comparing it to “shards of glass” being rubbed into her eyes. The procedure was done incorrectly, which caused her temporary blindness.

Despite this experience, Amber doesn’t regret her changes but says she won’t get any more extreme modifications like eye tattoos or tongue splitting.

She admitted that before her transformation, she never liked her appearance. “I saw myself as plain. I hated how I looked,” she said. Over time, she has shaped her own identity and feels happier, though she believes she still has more changes to make.

When asked about aging, Amber said she isn’t worried about how she’ll look later in life. “No one looks perfect at 70,” she said.

Reactions to her transformation have been mixed. While many people support her, some share negative opinions. However, Amber says she doesn’t let criticism affect her. “I’m happy with my choices, and that’s what matters,” she said.
