Woman Who Shaves Twice A Year Faces Trolls Calling Her A ‘Gorilla’ Who Will Die Alone

Nikki Serenity, a 27-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, has decided to shave only twice a year. While some people support her choice, others criticize her for it.

She often receives negative comments online, with people calling her names and making rude remarks. However, Nikki stays confident and doesn’t let the negativity affect her.

Nikki is a model and influencer with over 43,000 followers on Instagram. Her choice to keep her body hair natural gets mixed reactions, but she stands by her decision.

“One woman once told me that I would be alone forever just because of my body hair,” Nikki shared.

She has also encountered people with specific preferences for body hair. “Some people follow me just for that reason, but if they become too inappropriate, I block them,” she added. Her belief is simple: everyone should have the choice to shave or not.

Surprisingly, some of her followers get upset when she does decide to shave. “One guy even said I would lose everything I stand for,” she recalled. “But I believe in the freedom to choose—whether that means keeping it or shaving it.”

As a child, Nikki struggled with confidence about body hair. A comment from a friend about her looking different made her self-conscious. For years, she felt pressure to shave often, worried about what others would say.

“I used to cover my body a lot because I felt insecure. I was always scared someone would notice even a little bit of stubble,” she said.

Her perspective changed when she met her boyfriend, a professional photographer. He had worked with models who confidently embraced their natural look. Seeing their confidence inspired her to try it herself.

“I asked if he cared if I grew it out, and of course, he didn’t. I thought I would just try it for one photoshoot, but I ended up loving it,” she said.

Now, Nikki encourages others to experiment and see how they feel. “You might find that it boosts your confidence, just like it did for me. But if you prefer to shave, that’s completely fine too. It’s just hair, and everyone should have the choice to do what feels right for them.”
