Top OnlyFans celebrity earner of 2024 explained impact it had on her life before quitting platform

Iggy Azalea, best known for her hit “Fancy,” walking in Louboutins, and earning millions on OnlyFans, surprised fans this year by leaving the platform in June. Despite this, she still managed to top the list of highest celebrity earners in 2024.

Her OnlyFans account, which previously brought in around $48 million (£38.1 million) annually, now greets visitors with a message saying, “This page is closed.” Instead, she’s directing fans to other ventures.

Why Did Iggy Leave OnlyFans?

Iggy shared the news with her subscribers, saying, “I don’t have enough time to chat via this page anymore. You can find me on Telegram.” Many fans were shocked, as she was earning upwards of $9 million (£7.1 million) each month on the platform.

The 34-year-old explained her reasons during a podcast appearance. She’s now shifting her focus to cryptocurrency and other projects, like her $MOTHER coin and a presence on Telegram. This year, she also launched her own telecommunication service, Unreal Mobile, and a crowdfunding platform, Dream Vault.

Iggy said her time on OnlyFans taught her a lot. While the platform is often seen as “sexually deviant,” she felt it was more about connection than just content.

“I noticed people wanted more than just risqué images,” she said. “It felt like they wanted human interaction or friendship.”

She originally joined to share “sexy images” as part of a promotional campaign for a book but later realized the deeper value of community.

Iggy warned fans not to be misled by celebrity earnings on the platform. “Your first month will be the highest, and then it’s all about how well you build a community,” she explained.

She also noted that the platform can be “predatory,” especially for women who feel pressure to share more to earn more. “It doesn’t work that way,” she said, adding that she would never reveal her exact earnings because it’s both “tacky” and “dangerous.

Now, Iggy is focused on creating a space where fans can connect with her in a more meaningful way.
