Tom Holland makes rare admission about relationship with Zendaya

Tom Holland has shared a rare insight into what it’s like working with his real-life girlfriend, Zendaya.

The pair first met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. After years of dating rumors, they finally confirmed their relationship in 2021.

While Holland and Zendaya are known for keeping their romance private, the Uncharted star opened up during an interview on Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett’s podcast, Dish.

When Grimshaw asked if Zendaya liked working together because it meant their schedules aligned, Holland joked, “Studios love it, one hotel room.” He added, “We take separate cars to and from set. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy. Listen, it’s work, alright?”

On a serious note, Holland called his relationship with Zendaya the “best thing” that’s ever happened to him.

“It’s a saving grace,” he said. “It’s just perfect when you’re on set, and the director gives a note you don’t agree with. We can just share that familiar glance, like, ‘Can’t wait to talk about that later.’”

The couple will soon return to the Spider-Man universe, with the fourth film set to release in July 2026.

They’re also teaming up for their first non-Marvel project next year in an untitled Christopher Nolan movie, alongside Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway.

Zendaya previously spoke about working with Holland during a Vanity Fair interview in November. She described it as “strangely comfortable” to act with her partner.

“It feels like second nature,” she shared. “You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him.”

She went on to praise Holland’s work ethic, saying, “He’s so talented and passionate about what he does. He always gives one thousand percent, even when he’s exhausted. I really admire that about him.”

For Zendaya, working with Holland feels normal because that’s how they met: “Literally, at a chemistry read.

From Spider-Man to new projects, this couple continues to show how much they support each other both on and off-screen.
