Tiger Woods has put an end to weeks of speculation about his relationship status. The golf legend made it official on social media, revealing that he is in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump.
On Sunday, Woods posted on Instagram: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.” Along with the message, he shared two pictures of them together, including one where they were sitting close on a garden chair.

Vanessa Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018. She and Trump Jr. have five children together. Their 17-year-old son, Kai, has attended school with Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, and is expected to play golf at the University of Miami. Vanessa also posted one of the pictures with Woods on her Instagram story but did not add a caption.

As expected, the couple’s announcement sparked discussions online. Many people congratulated them, sending positive messages. One person commented: “I treasure you both. I pray that you gain all the blessings that life has for you. Keep your relationship between you both and don’t worry about negative comments.” Another said: “Happy for you both! Ignore negativity and just enjoy life together.” A third simply wrote: “Congratulations! Wishing you both the best.”

While many were supportive, some questioned why the couple asked for privacy after making a public announcement. Supporters of Woods and Vanessa defended them. One user explained: “Several people are asking why they announced it and then asked for privacy. The answer is simple.” Another added: “He likely just wanted to confirm the relationship so they don’t have to deal with speculation. Now they can enjoy their time together without endless questions.” It seems the couple wanted to share their relationship openly and move forward without unnecessary attention.
