She is 3 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds, which often leads people to mistake her for a child. Even though she is 25 years old, she is treated like a young girl in public. Restaurants often give her kids’ menus and crayons, and people assume she is much younger than she really is.

Her height has also made dating difficult. During an episode of The Unplanned Podcast, Shauna spoke about her concerns with relationships. She explained that she has to be extra cautious because she never knows if someone is genuinely interested in her or if they are only drawn to her appearance. She admitted that fear kept her from dating when she was younger, making it hard for her to trust people’s intentions.

She recalled a moment in school when a boy approached her. Instead of feeling excited, she immediately wondered if he had bad motives. This fear followed her into adulthood, making her hesitant to form relationships.

Her parents have always supported her and given her relationship advice. They reminded her that true love is about friendship and connection, not just looks. “You’re going to get older, looks will change, and personality is what truly matters,” they told her. They believe her future partner will likely be someone she has known for a long time.

Shauna also shared a difficult chapter from her past. When she was 17 or 18 years old, she was in a relationship where her partner’s anger slowly turned physical. At first, it was just grabbing her wrist, but it eventually became worse. She finally ended things when he began sending threatening messages.

Now, she uses her experiences to help others recognize warning signs. She encourages people to leave relationships that don’t make them feel valued. “If someone makes you feel scared, talk to someone and walk away,” she advises.
