With the upcoming release of the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, many are talking about the famous doll’s look. Meanwhile, an Australian woman, Tara McConachy, has been making headlines for her own transformation, which involves extensive plastic surgery.
Tara, 33, has spent over $200,000 on cosmetic procedures in her pursuit of what she sees as the perfect appearance. Despite warnings from doctors, she says she isn’t ready to stop.
Standing at 5’7” and weighing just 100 pounds, she has undergone multiple procedures, including five breast augmentations, six nose jobs, cheek and butt implants, and rounds of Botox and fillers. She even had her eye color changed to a bright green.
Her body measurements are 37-17-29, which she compares to the proportions of a real-life Barbie.
Her journey with plastic surgery began at 20 when her father gifted her a breast and lip enhancement for her birthday. She described the feeling as addictive, saying she became obsessed with cosmetic changes.
“If you can modify your body, why not?” she said. “Anywhere you can put filler, I will literally put it in my face.”
Tara has faced rejection from some doctors who believe further surgery could be harmful. She appeared on Botched, a show where Hollywood surgeons evaluate extreme cosmetic cases.
The doctors told her she had too little body fat for additional procedures and expressed concerns about her overall health. However, she was determined to continue, stating she would find a surgeon willing to proceed.
After briefly reducing her breast implants due to back pain, she now plans to enlarge them again. She is set to travel to Turkey for another surgery, aiming to increase her implant size from 1,050cc to 1,500cc.
Tara funds her procedures through an account where she offers exclusive content to her followers. Recent Instagram posts suggest she has already undergone another breast enlargement.
