A Playboy model has shared a surprising story about Leonardo DiCaprio and his dating preferences. The 49-year-old actor has become famous for dating women much younger than him, usually under the age of 25.
Over the years, jokes have been made about DiCaprio’s relationships, especially after his breakups with women like actress Nina Agdal and Camila Morrone. Both of these women were reportedly dropped by the actor soon after turning 25. These breakups have led many to joke that DiCaprio ends relationships when his partners’ brains fully develop.
An anonymous insider spoke to Page Six and explained why DiCaprio often dates younger women. The source claimed, “By the time girls reach 25, they want more—like marriage and settling down. That’s not what Leo wants.” The insider added that DiCaprio doesn’t want a family or to be with women who might expect him to settle down.
This pattern seems to continue as the source said, “The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, she’s gone. If she gets too close, she’s gone.” Despite getting older, DiCaprio’s taste in partners hasn’t changed.
Recently, model Hieke Konings shared her experience with DiCaprio at a private club in Los Angeles. Konings, who was on the cover of the Dutch Playboy magazine, described how she made eye contact with the actor at the club. Her manager then invited her over to DiCaprio’s table, where she asked him about his under-25 dating trend.
DiCaprio allegedly admitted that he was “guilty” of the trend. Konings also claimed they kissed, but she didn’t think it was “the best.” After she turned down DiCaprio’s offer to go home with him, he was reportedly shocked but responded kindly, respecting her decision.
While it’s unclear if this story is true, DiCaprio has been linked to Vittoria Ceretti, a 26-year-old model, since June 2023.
