Looking good isn’t cheap, and this model believes men should help cover the cost.
A Brazilian influencer is getting backlash for saying that men should pay a “husband tax” to help cover their wives’ beauty and fitness expenses.

25-year-old Karol Rosalin, who lives in SĂŁo Paulo, explained her view, saying, “After all, men LOVE to see us looking good, always well taken care of.”
She has built a big online following through her dedication to fitness. She works out five days a week, does cardio daily, and follows a strict diet of healthy foods. She also shares pictures of her toned body on Instagram, where even AI labeled her as having “the perfect female body.”
But staying fit isn’t cheap, and she believes men should help with those costs. “Women who take care of themselves spend hours training, invest in healthy food, fitness gear, and beauty treatments,” she said.
She then asked, “But what if we had fitness aid? A monthly amount just to help with our body care?”
Her idea is simple: If a man wants a fit and beautiful wife, he should help pay for it.

Rosalin hasn’t shared how much this “husband tax” should be, but she insists that women’s beauty efforts often go unrecognized or unsupported.
For her, a man who refuses to help is an “absolute dealbreaker.” “A man who doesn’t understand the effort and money behind looking this good is not the type of man I want,” she stated.
However, not all men she’s dated agreed. “One guy called me his dream woman, admired my dedication, but thought it was absurd to help pay for it,” she shared.
She didn’t agree with that mindset. “He wanted the results without being part of the process, so I moved on.”
People online weren’t impressed. One person said, “This is the worst idea I’ve ever heard.” Others accused her of asking for financial support based only on looks.

Rosalin made her stance clear: “This isn’t about buying anyone—it’s about partnership.” However, she doesn’t think the same rule applies to men.
“I once paid for a man’s fitness and it was a waste of time,” she admitted. “A man who truly wants to take care of himself doesn’t need to be carried.”
