Michael J. Fox’s twin daughter has ‘picture perfect’ wedding on mom’s birthday

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan’s daughter, Schuyler, found a special way to celebrate her mom’s birthday. She tied the knot with her longtime partner on June 22, the same day her mother turned 64.

The wedding took place in the scenic Catskill Mountains in New York. Guests enjoyed a beautiful outdoor setting, and despite a heat wave, the weather was perfect for the celebration.

Michael J. Fox, 63, and Tracy Pollan, 64, first met nearly 40 years ago on the set of the TV show Family Ties. At the time, Fox was dating actress Nancy McKeon, while Pollan was in a relationship with Kevin Bacon.

Years later, they reconnected while filming Bright Lights, Big City in 1988. Both were single, and they quickly fell in love, getting married that same year.

Their family grew soon after. Their first child, Sam, was born in 1989, followed by twin daughters, Schuyler and Aquinnah, in 1995, and their youngest, Esmé, in 2001.

Two years into their marriage, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. In a 2023 interview, he shared how Pollan stood by him from the beginning. “The hardest part was accepting the diagnosis and not knowing how things would change,” he said. “My wife made it clear she was with me for the long run.”

Now, with their kids grown, Fox and Pollan are enjoying their empty nest. Fox joked, “We get more food now that they’re not taking it all.”

Schuyler’s wedding was a beautiful event. A source described it as a “picture-perfect garden party” held at Hayfield Catskills, with guests staying at nearby lodges. Celebrities like George Stephanopoulos, Ali Wentworth, and Jennifer Grey attended.

The day was extra special because it was also Pollan’s birthday. Their son Sam posted a heartfelt message to his mom, promising a separate post for his sister.

Fox also shared a loving tribute to Pollan. “It’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day. I love you,” he wrote on Instagram. “Always, forever your Mike.”
