Khloé Kardashian often calls her 1-year-old son, Tatum, nicknames like “mini Robert” and “baby Rob.” She says he looks a lot like her brother, Rob Kardashian. Recently, Khloé shared how much their resemblance surprised her, leading to a story involving paternity tests and family genes.

During the SHE MD podcast on May 7, Khloé opened up about this. She joked that the situation felt like a storyline from a Kardashian episode. “My son looks just like my brother, and my brother is one of my favorite people,” she said. She also noticed that Tatum has a personality similar to her late father.
Khloé and Dr. Aliabadi, one of the hosts, both agreed that Tatum looks more like Rob than like her. This made Khloé question his paternity. “Tatum was born through IVF and surrogacy. I asked Rob if he had ever donated sperm anywhere,” she admitted.
Her doubts led her to ask Tristan Thompson, Tatum’s father, to take three DNA tests. Khloé said, “Tristan was so offended.” Even though tests had already confirmed he was the father, she kept pushing for more proof.

Khloé’s doctor was surprised by how persistent she was. But in the end, she accepted that the Kardashian genes are just strong. She laughed about the mix-up, saying it “would not surprise me, but would be so weird.”
Despite their history, Khloé had good things to say about Tristan as a father. She called him an incredible dad to their kids. The two split in December 2019 after a cheating scandal, but they continue to co-parent their children, Tatum and 6-year-old True Thompson.

Khloé said she is thankful they can co-parent well. “We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids,” she shared.
In the end, what started as a confusing situation turned into a lighthearted family story.
