As her 40th birthday approached, Estelle Keeber wasn’t feeling great.
She was a single mother of two boys, had recently lost her grandmother, and had just ended a three-year engagement with her fiancé, Chris.
Wanting a change, she planned a week-long trip to Spain with her best friend, Sarah. She had no idea this trip would completely change her outlook on life.

“I had always been curious about nudist beaches,” Estelle says. “No clothes, no filters, just being yourself.”
She had seen them before on vacations but never considered trying it. That changed five years ago when she was in Spain with her kids, aged 8 and 6.
She saw people of all ages looking comfortable and carefree on a nudist beach. It made her think, but she wasn’t ready yet.
Over time, her confidence dropped. She had gone through a serious medical emergency after an ectopic pregnancy, which left her with scars and a changed body.

Working in social media, she saw how people only shared their best versions, leading to body image issues.
She wanted her kids to grow up with a healthier perspective.
A year later, on a trip to Corfu, she went topless for the first time. It felt freeing, but she still wanted more.
In summer 2022, she told Sarah her plan for their Spain trip. Sarah was shocked at first but quickly agreed.
At the beach, they hesitated at first. But then, laughing, they stripped off and ran into the sea.
“The feeling was amazing,” Estelle recalls. “The water, the wind—it felt so natural.”

They spent the day completely relaxed and even went skinny-dipping under the moonlight.
Back home, she shared her experience with friends, family, and social media followers. Some were surprised, but she didn’t care.
For her 41st birthday, she did it again in Majorca. Now, it’s a yearly tradition.
She also became active in social media awareness, helping change policies on body positivity.
“Life is too short to worry about looks. Get outside, be free, and enjoy life!”
