Identical twins April and Amelia Maddison recently shared the story of how their mother discovered their OnlyFans career in an unexpected way.
Like most kids, they had secrets they wanted to keep from their parents. However, secrets don’t always stay hidden. For the 20-year-old twins from Australia, theirs was revealed when a male relative found leaked photos of their OnlyFans content and showed them to their mother.
April and Amelia, who are nearly indistinguishable except for a small beauty mark on April’s upper lip, always had an entrepreneurial spirit. As soon as they turned 18, they started working as strippers at a local club. However, they soon realized that they could earn more online and have greater control over their schedules.
Because they already shared clothes, friends, and even played tennis doubles, teaming up for an OnlyFans account felt like a natural step. Their decision paid off, as they made an astonishing $6 million AUD (approximately $3.9 million USD) in under two years. April explained that while they initially started OnlyFans to promote their work as strippers, they had no idea it would be so successful.
Despite their booming earnings, the twins chose to keep their online activities a secret from their family. That changed when their photos were leaked, and their mother found out through their relative.
Although it wasn’t the way they wanted her to find out, Amelia said their mom handled the news better than they expected. “Mum was nervous, but we reassured her that we were safe and earning enough to live comfortably,” she said.
Their friends were also surprised by the revelation but came to terms with it quickly. “They know us well, so they got over it fast,” Amelia added.
Working together has its challenges. The twins admit to occasionally fighting over things like camera angles or outfits, but their bond helps them work through any disagreements.
For April and Amelia, their journey has been one of teamwork, trust, and financial success, proving that even unconventional paths can lead to big rewards.
