Brad Roberts was excited about his weight loss with Ozempic, dropping 150 pounds. But now, he says he is struggling with serious health problems.
Within a month of starting the medication, the 44-year-old lost 24 pounds. After six months, his weight dropped from 300 to 157 pounds. Feeling good about his progress, Roberts agreed to appear in a commercial for his then-employer, telehealth company LifeMD.

In the ad, he shared how his father’s passing led him to use food for comfort. Proud of his transformation, he told viewers: “For the first time in five years, I feel confident. Making a change is possible.”
However, Roberts claims he didn’t realize the rapid weight loss was taking a toll on his health.
Now, he is suing the doctor who treated him, saying he experiences severe pain in his joints, muscles, and stomach. He spends up to 18 hours a day in bed due to discomfort.

He also says that fatty tissue in his ears has deteriorated, causing serious balance issues. Simple tasks like walking and climbing stairs have become difficult.
Legal documents claim his condition has worsened. According to the lawsuit, he struggles to communicate, has memory problems, and sometimes experiences quadruple vision.

Weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy have been linked to rare eye conditions that can lead to vision problems.
