Elon Musk has responded after an influencer claimed to have given birth to his 13th child.
On Friday (February 14), Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old writer and influencer, took to X to announce that she and Musk, 53, share a child.
St. Clair stated that she never planned to make this information public but felt pressured by media coverage. “Five months ago, I welcomed a baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote. “I have kept this private to protect our child’s safety, but since tabloids plan to reveal it anyway, I am speaking out.”
She added that her priority is raising her child in a stable and safe environment. “I ask the media to respect our child’s privacy and avoid unnecessary attention.”
Her post was captioned with the Latin phrase “Alea Iacta Est,” meaning “The die is cast.”
St. Clair is known for her conservative views and her children’s book Elephants Are Not Birds, published by BRAVE Books. Her representative, Brian Glicklich, confirmed the claim and revealed that she and Musk had been privately working on a co-parenting agreement.
“Ashley and Elon have been working on a plan for raising their child together,” Glicklich said. “Unfortunately, a reporter forced the situation into the public before they could finalize everything.” He added that they are waiting for Musk to acknowledge his role publicly and finalize their agreement.
Musk had stayed silent on the matter until now. His response? A single word: “Whoa.”
This was his reaction to a post claiming “Ashley St. Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk.”
According to The New York Post, St. Clair was unhappy with Musk’s reaction. She responded publicly, saying, “Elon, we have been trying to contact you for days. You won’t respond to us, but you will reply to online rumors?”
If St. Clair’s claim is true, Musk now has 13 children. He already has 12 kids with three different women:
- Five children with ex-wife Justine Wilson: twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
- Three children with musician Grimes: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.
- Three children with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis: twins Strider and Azure, and a third baby born in early 2024.
