Bruce Willis and Emma Heming have been married for more than a decade. Despite his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, Heming is staying true to her promise to stand by him in sickness and in health.

She often looks back at memories from when Bruce was in better health.
Since learning about his condition, Heming has been focused on ensuring he gets the best care possible. She recently shared a photo on Instagram with dementia specialist Teepa Snow, explaining that Snow is helping her learn new skills to care for Bruce. She called it adding to her “dementia care toolbox.”
While she remains committed to his care, she recently discovered Instagram’s memory feature, which shows past posts. One memory stood out—a video of Bruce showing his support for her skincare brand, Cocobaba. She reshared it, writing, “Omg, my biggest fan. I’m in love with him.”
It’s clear that she cherishes moments from before his condition worsened.
Bruce has kept a low profile since his aphasia diagnosis in 2022. However, recent photos showed him out in Los Angeles, drinking coffee. Sightings of him have been rare, making these images stand out.

His family has been open about his health struggles. In an Instagram post, his daughter Rumer Willis shared an update, saying, “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, his condition has progressed. We now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (FTD).”
She also said that while the situation is difficult, they are grateful to finally have a clear diagnosis.
On film sets, Bruce reportedly struggled with his memory. Crew members of his last scheduled movie, White Elephant, said they sometimes had to “feed” him lines. A crew member shared, “Someone would give him a line, and he didn’t understand what it meant. He was just being puppeted.”

The Willis family is going through a tough time, but they continue to support Bruce. Sending them strength during this journey.
