Julia Ann started her career in 1992 and became one of the most well-known names in the industry.

She was first recognized as part of the Blondage duo with Janine Lindemulder and was later inducted into the Brazzers Hall of Fame.

Over the years, she has seen many changes in the industry and recently shared why she stopped working with male co-stars.

She opened up on the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast, hosted by adult film director Holly Randall.

Her reason left many people surprised.

One listener commented: “People really don’t understand how the female body changes over time.”

Another added: “Most of the comments show that people skipped basic biology.”

A third person defended her, saying: “Why do people judge her like they’ve never made a choice for themselves?”

During the interview, Ann and Randall also discussed how people react to relationships in the industry.

Ann explained: “People love to assume things. Instead of believing that someone is okay with it, they just label them in a negative way.”

However, the biggest revelation came when Ann shared why she now only works with women.

She made the decision after getting married, but said it had nothing to do with her husband.

“He knew everything about my career. He’s not a jealous person,” she said.

Her actual reason? She feels more comfortable filming with women.

“As I got older, my body changed, and I didn’t like how I looked in certain positions with men,” she explained.

“With women, I can control my angles better. But with men, movements happen that I can’t control.”

She also admitted that she worried about wrinkles and how they could affect her career.

Randall agreed, saying: “When you’re younger, it’s easier to move into camera-friendly positions. But as we age, our bodies don’t work the same way.”
