Jennifer Garner has always been known for her kindness, and her recent act of generosity is another example of that.
While at a parking lot in Santa Monica Beach, California, the 51-year-old actress saw a homeless man in a wheelchair who needed help. Many celebrities might have driven away without a second thought, but Garner decided to do something different.

She rolled down her window and handed the man a bag with essential items. Then, she noticed something else—he was barefoot.
Garner stepped out of her car, knelt beside the man, and began putting socks on his feet. Wanting to help even more, she took off her own shoes and tried to give them to him. However, the shoes were too small. Instead of giving up, Garner looked for another solution.
She spotted a paparazzo nearby, someone who had been following her, and asked if he could help.

“What size shoes do you have?” Garner asked the photographer.
She explained that the homeless man needed size 10 and a half shoes.
The photographer, who wore size 11 shoes, quickly responded, “Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give them to him?” Without hesitation, he gave up his shoes for free, refusing payment from Garner.
This moment is just one of many examples of Garner’s compassion for people in need. Recently, she also made headlines for surprising her father with a ride in his childhood car for his 85th birthday.

Beyond that, she has spent years working with Save the Children, a group that helps kids in rural America. “While I did not grow up poor, I was surrounded by it,” Garner once shared.
Her commitment to helping others has been a big part of her life, and this recent act in Santa Monica shows that she continues to make a difference whenever she can.
