Khloé Kardashian recently shared an awkward moment involving her mom, Kris Jenner, and some unexpected dating advice.
Kris, known as the “momager” of the Kardashian-Jenner family, has helped her children build massive careers. The family’s combined net worth is estimated to be around $3 billion, with Kim Kardashian being the wealthiest.
Khloé has also made a name for herself outside the family’s reality show. She owns Good American, a denim brand, and recently became the first Kardashian-Jenner to launch a podcast called Khloé in Wonderland.
On a recent episode, she shared a story about a basketball player she once dated and the advice her mom gave her.
Most people turn to their moms for relationship advice, but what Kris told Khloé was definitely unexpected. Khloé recalled, “I went on a date with someone… he was a basketball player for one of the LA teams.”
After going out once or twice, she noticed he stopped reaching out. She told her best friends, Malika and Khadijah Haqq, about the situation. That’s when Kris jumped in with her opinion.
Kris asked how many dates they had been on, and Khloé responded, “One or two.” Then, Kris asked if she had been physically intimate with him. When Khloé said no, Kris replied, “Well, that’s why he’s not calling you back!”
Khadijah was shocked but also impressed by Kris’s bluntness. “I remember looking at you like, ‘Wow, she really knows something we don’t!’” she said.
While her friend thought Kris was cool for saying that, Khloé admitted she was embarrassed her mom made the comment in front of others.
Unfortunately, Khloé hasn’t had the best luck in relationships. She was once married to Lamar Odom and later dated Tristan Thompson, a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Khloé and Tristan have two kids together, but their relationship ended after multiple cheating scandals.
In a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Tristan spoke about his past mistakes. He admitted he felt guilty after cheating and explained that his actions were influenced by his childhood experiences.
Although Tristan has hinted at wanting to fix things, Khloé has made it clear she has no plans to get back together with him.
