Man Eats Nearly 1,000 Eggs In A Month And Reveals Surprising Effect On His Sex Drive

A YouTuber decided to test his body by eating nearly 1,000 eggs in just one month. He later shared his results, explaining both the positive and negative effects of the extreme diet.

Joseph Everett, creator of the YouTube channel “What I’ve Learned,” took on this unusual challenge in December 2022. His goal was to find out if eating 30 eggs per day could improve his physical strength.

At first, he blended raw eggs into protein smoothies. But after a few days, he started adding them to meals with rice, beef, and protein bars to make them easier to eat.

By day five, he ran into a problem—serious digestive issues. To fix it, he began cooking the eggs instead of drinking them raw.

But on day nine, he noticed something strange—his diet seemed to be affecting his sex drive.

Everett said he felt more focused, had more energy, and noticed an increase in his libido. His experience led him to wonder if eggs could actually improve sex drive.

Some experts believe there may be science behind it. According to Dr. Arun Kumar, eggs contain L-arginine, an amino acid linked to improved erectile function.

Rajeswari V Shetty, a dietitian at SL Raheja Hospital in Mumbai, also said that eggs contain B vitamins that help reduce stress and balance hormones—both important for a healthy sex drive.

While diet plays a role, experts warn that food alone won’t solve all issues. OB/GYN Salena Zanotti explains that both physical and mental factors affect sexual desire. She suggests that stress, lack of sleep, or relationship issues can also cause changes in libido.

Other ways to improve sex drive include regular exercise, managing stress, getting enough sleep, and quitting smoking. A 2015 study found that exercise can boost confidence and improve relationships.

By the end of the challenge, Everett had gained 13 pounds of muscle and said his weightlifting performance improved.

Surprisingly, despite eating so many eggs, his cholesterol levels remained stable. However, he did notice he was sleeping less than usual during the experiment.
