Blake Lively has made serious claims against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of unwanted kissing, discussing personal matters, and trying to add inappropriate scenes while filming It Ends With Us. She filed a lawsuit in January 2024, and Baldoni quickly responded with a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, accusing them of defamation and other claims. He also launched a website, thelawsuitinfo.com, to share his side of the story.

One key argument i the case is whether an intimacy coordinator was involved from the start. Lively says there wasn’t one until she demanded it, but Baldoni’s records show that an intimacy coordinator was hired six weeks before filming and that Lively declined to meet them before production began. Baldoni’s notes suggest that he was simply sharing guidance from the coordinator, not adding extra scenes on his own.

In April 2023, Baldoni met with the intimacy coordinator and later discussed their notes with Lively. One note suggested her character should have an emotional reaction in a scene, which Lively reportedly responded to by joking about her age. Baldoni insists that these were professional discussions about acting, while Lively saw them as inappropriate.

Another dispute is over the nudity rider, a legal document ensuring actors have control over intimate scenes. Lively’s lawsuit suggests she had to request one, but Baldoni’s records claim she was given one months before filming any intimate scenes.
Lively also claims Baldoni improvised a kissing scene on May 22, 2023. However, Baldoni’s lawsuit states that Lively initiated the kisses and adjusted how many happened in different takes. There was no intimacy coordinator that day, but Baldoni’s team says this was normal for non-explicit scenes.

By January 2024, Lively set 30 conditions for a better work environment. She asked for an experienced producer, restrictions on personal conversations, and stricter filming rules. Baldoni agreed to the terms, but their legal battle continues.
