Tennis star Arina Rodionova launches new career on OnlyFans… and announces divorce from Aussie footballer husband

Tennis player Arina Rodionova has revealed she is divorcing her Australian footballer husband, Ty Vickery, just days after launching her OnlyFans career.

The 35-year-old shared the news on Instagram with Vickery, announcing the end of their nine-year marriage. “We’re getting divorced. We’ve been separated for about a year,” she said calmly to her 27,000 followers. “Friends and family know, but we just wanted to let everyone else know. Thanks.”

Vickery, who was eating a banana during the video, added, “We’re good. We wish each other the best.” The clip ended with an awkward handshake, with Vickery placing his banana in Rodionova’s hand, leaving both laughing.

Under the post, Rodionova wrote, “That’s life. We have a lot of love for each other, but sometimes that’s just not enough.”

The Russian-born tennis player, who represents Australia, recently lost in the Australian Open qualifiers. Days later, she announced her OnlyFans account, leading to speculation about her separation.

In a past vlog, Rodionova shared a fan’s comment: “Stop with tennis, you’ll make more money with OnlyFans,” calling it the “best compliment” of the year. After the divorce announcement, she joked on Instagram, saying, “Now seems like a good time to start posting my bikini pictures from the Maldives… on OnlyFans, of course.”

Rodionova had already shared pictures from her luxury Maldives trip, which she took with Olympic silver medallist Natalia Zabiiako.

Hours after posting the divorce video, Rodionova shared an Instagram Story from her flight, writing, “Bye Australia, love you always. Also, be grateful I didn’t post a million inspirational quotes after the breakup. You’re welcome.”

In her OnlyFans bio, she describes herself as a tennis player “but a fun one.” Rodionova once adjusted her match schedule on her wedding day to marry Vickery hours after a semifinal.

The tennis star, who debuted in the WTA Top 100 at age 34, is now ranked 184. She competed in the Rio 2016 Olympics and Wimbledon 2017, capping off a successful career.
