Alex explained on KIISFM’s Kyle and Jackie O show that everything seemed perfect in their relationship. However, about three weeks ago, a long-time family friend confessed the truth to him during a night out. The friend felt it was wrong to keep Alex in the dark and believed Alex deserved to know the truth about his girlfriend’s past.
Alex was told that his girlfriend had undergone gender reassignment surgery at 18. At first, he struggled to believe the news. He confronted his girlfriend and found her estrogen pills, which confirmed the information. Alex described feeling a mix of emotions, including shock, anger, and sadness.
Despite being in love with her, Alex felt betrayed. He believed she should have been honest about her past from the beginning of their relationship. Alex said trust is essential, and the lack of openness made him feel deceived. He admitted he couldn’t sense any difference in their intimate relationship and was deeply hurt when he confronted her. His girlfriend broke down in tears, unable to respond.
