Dolph Lundgren, 65, Marries His Girlfriend, 27, After He Was Given “Two to Three Years to Live”

Dolph Lundgren, the legendary action movie star, has entered a new chapter in his life with his 27-year-old bride, Emma Krokdal. While their love story is heartwarming, it comes alongside Dolph’s ongoing battle with serious health challenges.

In May 2023, Lundgren revealed that he’s been fighting cancer for nearly eight years. His health issues began in 2015 when he was diagnosed with kidney and liver cancer. He underwent surgery to remove a tumor and monitored his condition closely over the years.

Unfortunately, in 2020, doctors discovered more tumors in his kidney area. This led to multiple surgeries to remove six tumors in total, which took a toll on his health. During this time, Dolph was also filming “The Expendables 4” and “Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom,” which made recovery even harder. Doctors advised him to rest, and at one point, he was told he might have only two or three years to live.

Determined not to give up, Dolph sought a second opinion. A new doctor suggested an alternative treatment, which proved effective. By 2022, the tumors had shrunk by 90%, giving him a renewed hope for the future.

Dolph wasn’t alone in this battle. In 2020, when his cancer returned, he became engaged to Norwegian personal trainer Emma Krokdal. Despite their 40-year age gap, the couple found happiness together. Emma has described Dolph as “the most caring, loving, and thoughtful partner.”

Their engagement lasted longer than expected due to Dolph’s medical treatments. Finally, on July 13, 2023, the couple tied the knot at their villa in Mykonos. The wedding was a celebration of “love, life, and happiness.”

Dolph’s health journey has given him a new perspective on life, and with Emma by his side, the couple is embracing the future together. We wish them continued strength and happiness.
