Kristina Ozturk, a 26-year-old mom, has shocked many by revealing she already has 22 biological children and dreams of having as many as 100 kids in total.
While raising even one child can be challenging, Kristina has taken on the huge task of caring for nearly two dozen kids. She shares this large family with her husband, millionaire businessman Galip Ozturk.
To help manage their unique household, the couple spends a lot of money each year on nannies. Most of their children were born using surrogates. Between March 2020 and July 2021, they spent about $180,000 on surrogacy to grow their family.
The couple’s children include Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia.
Amazingly, 20 of their kids were born within just over a year, creating a household unlike any other.
In a 2021 interview with Fabulous, Kristina explained that having a large family was always her dream. She shared, “My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action.”
Kristina admitted their lives have changed completely, saying, “Our romantic relationship has changed, but then our whole lives have changed, not just the romantic part.”
Despite having a team of nannies, Kristina says she still takes on many responsibilities. “The only difference is the amount of kids,” she explained. Her days are always full, from managing staff schedules to shopping for the family. She added, “I can tell you one thing—my days are never boring.”
While 22 kids might seem like enough for most people, Kristina and Galip have bigger plans. They have talked about expanding their family to over 100 children but have decided to wait until their current kids are a bit older.
This pause might also be due to Galip’s legal troubles. In 2023, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for drug-related charges.
Following Galip’s arrest, Kristina thanked her supporters for their “kind words and support” during a difficult time.
For Kristina, this journey is far from over, and her dream of having the world’s happiest family continues.
