In a unique family dynamic, the wives are the breadwinners while the husband stays home to take care of the house and raise their children. Nicholas Davis, who calls himself a “trophy husband,” lives with his three wives and openly shares their unconventional lifestyle.
Nicholas, a father of two, doesn’t work and compares himself to a king on a chessboard, saying, “The king doesn’t move much,” while his wives hold all the power. His wives—April, Jennifer, and Danielle—work full-time in their careers.
The story began when Nicholas met April in university 15 years ago. After being married for nine years, April introduced Jennifer into their relationship.
“It’s nice to have helping hands with my husband,” April said, adding that she’s fine with other women meeting Nicholas’ “needs.”
To some, this setup might sound unusual. April shared, “Nick’s a lot to handle… in a lot of ways. Nick is a lot to handle in the bed,” adding that his personality is also a handful.
April, now 38, was the one who introduced Jennifer, now 25, into the family when she was just 19. April said she felt Jennifer would be a perfect fit for their family, mentioning her “high intellect” and how she knew Nicholas would find her attractive.
Nicholas admitted that at night he likes to be “snuggled up in the middle” of his wives, but he spends private time with each of them in separate rooms.
Last year, the family expanded again when 22-year-old Danielle joined as the third wife. Nicholas described their wedding as a dream come true, saying, “Having three wives… I just feel like I’m living a dream.”
Danielle also expressed her joy, saying, “I didn’t think happiness like this existed until I found a love like this.”
The Davis family continues to grow. Jennifer gave birth to their first child together, Vera, in June. Nicholas is also the father of a teenage son from a previous relationship.
This unique family setup has sparked curiosity, but for Nicholas and his wives, it’s simply a life that makes them happy.
