Picture Perfect
Dubai is known for its impressive attractions, including the largest of everything. One standout is The Dubai Frame, the world’s largest picture frame. Standing at 492 feet tall, this iconic spot offers a unique view of the city, though it’s not a real picture frame. It’s a perfect spot for photos!

You’ve Got Mail
In most cities, residents have standard postal addresses. However, Dubai used a different method until recently. People had to describe how to find their mailbox. While postal codes are now in place, it’s still useful to have a map for directions, as it can be tricky to find some places.

Happy New Year!
Dubai is an excellent place to visit for New Year’s, especially with its perfect winter weather. The highlight of the celebration is the massive fireworks display near the Burj Khalifa, one of the largest in the world. It’s a dazzling way to ring in the new year.

The Cleanest Metro System
Unlike many cities where metro systems can get dirty, Dubai’s metro is incredibly clean and well-maintained. There are strict rules—eating, drinking, or napping can result in fines. It’s clear that cleanliness is a priority for the city.

Record Breaking
Dubai is proud of its many world records—339 as of 2022! Besides the famous tallest building, Dubai holds records for the most diamonds on a perfume bottle and the tallest chocolate sculpture. It’s also home to the world’s fastest police car: a Bugatti Veyron.

Past, Present, and Future
Dubai is known for its modern developments, but it has also preserved part of its past. The Bastakia Quarter, built in the 19th century, is kept in its original form as a heritage site, offering a glimpse into the city’s history.

It’s Raining Men
Dubai has a unique gender ratio: 69% men and 31% women. Many of the men come from other countries to work. While this may seem like a lot, most are married and live with their families back home.

How Long?!
Dubai also has record-breaking craftsmanship. In 2015, the Dubai Gold and Jewelry Group created the world’s longest gold chain, weighing over 500 pounds. It took 100 craftsmen 45 days to make!

All You Can Eat
Dubai offers a mix of global cuisines, with food from all over the world. The city also has popular international food chains like McDonald’s and Starbucks, making it easy to enjoy familiar food in a new setting.

Keeping It PG
In Dubai, public displays of affection are not accepted. While holding hands is generally fine, anything more intimate, like kissing, should be kept private. It’s important to respect local customs while visiting.
