Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade welcomes son with husband… and his name is a nod to his famous grandfather

Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade, and her husband Evan McClintock have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock.

Hailie, who is 29, shared the news on Friday through sweet photos of her newborn and some details about his birth.

Baby Elliot was born on March 14, 2024. His middle name, ‘Marshall,’ is a nod to his grandfather, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III. It’s a small but special connection between them.

In her Instagram post, Hailie wrote, “happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e.”
The pictures showed Elliot wearing a blue knit sweater, lying next to a small board that displayed his name and birth date.

Earlier, in October, Eminem revealed Hailie’s pregnancy in his music video for Temporary featuring Skylar Grey.

There’s a scene in the video where he looks emotional while walking Hailie down the aisle. Later, she surprises him by sharing the pregnancy news. Toward the end, Hailie hands him a Detroit Lions jersey with “Grandpa” written on it, along with an ultrasound image of her baby.

As Eminem looked at the ultrasound, he appeared surprised while Hailie smiled beside him.

Back in October, Hailie and Evan had already shared that they were expecting a boy. On her podcast, Just A Little Shady, they revealed the news by popping a gold balloon.

When the balloon burst, blue confetti fell, confirming the baby’s gender.

Hailie and Evan got married in 2024 in Battle Creek, Michigan. The wedding was attended by close friends and family at Greencrest Manor, and the event was kept simple and private.

For the ceremony, Hailie chose a white wedding dress with a tulle skirt and a sheer veil to complete her look.

The couple began dating in 2016 and got engaged in February 2023. Hailie grew up in Detroit with her father Eminem and mother Kim Scott.

She graduated from Chippewa Valley High School and later studied at Michigan State University. On her podcast, she once mentioned that her father’s songs Temporary and Somebody Save Me always bring her to tears when she listens to them.
