Travelers joining one of the world’s most well-known nude cruises won’t need to buy fancy outfits, but they will need a solid budget.
The Big Nude Boat, a clothing-optional Caribbean cruise, is set for another 11-day journey on February 9, 2026.
However, the trip isn’t cheap. The most affordable interior cabins start at $2,000 (£1,538), while the most luxurious option—a three-bedroom garden villa—costs $33,155 (£25,511).

The cruise takes place on the Norwegian Pearl, a ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) that can accommodate 2,300 passengers.
Beyond the base fare, guests will also need to pay port taxes of $284 (£218) per person and mandatory prepaid gratuities of $221 (£170).
Despite the price, the cruise continues to attract plenty of travelers.
In an online discussion, one passenger who has taken four trips with Bare Necessities, the company behind the cruise, shared their experience.
They mentioned that the cost tends to attract an older crowd, but they and their spouse have found the trips to be a great way to relax and disconnect.
Bare Necessities notes that many passengers come back year after year.
“The Big Nude Boat has become a tradition, with a high percentage of repeat cruisers. Many return to reconnect with friends they’ve met on previous cruises, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere,” the company explains.
The 2026 itinerary includes stops in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Jamaica, and Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay, where guests can visit designated nude beaches.
The company emphasizes that the cruise is non-sexual and is not intended for swingers.
Anyone who violates the rules will be removed at the next port.
While nudity is allowed at the self-serve buffet, passengers must wear clothing for meals in the dining rooms. Guests are also required to sit on a towel while nude, with fresh towels provided daily.

Clothing is also required when locals come on board to perform and during the Captain’s reception.
For those looking for an even more exclusive experience, Bare Necessities offers a luxury cruise on the Scenic Eclipse II.
This “6-star experience” starts at $13,660 (£10,500) for the cheapest cabin, while the Owner’s Penthouse costs $50,770 (£39,000).
Set to sail on October 26, the cruise will visit the Great Barrier Reef, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu, with several rooms already sold out.
