35-year-old transforms himself into “black alien”

Today, most people can express themselves however they want, whether through clothing, hairstyles, or tattoos, without much judgment. Of course, there are still limits, but for the most part, society has become more accepting of personal choices.

That said, some expressions of self can push boundaries. Anthony Loffredo, a 35-year-old from France, is a clear example of this. His extreme body modifications have gained attention worldwide, making it nearly impossible for him to go unnoticed.

Anthony’s transformation stems from his goal to become the “black alien.” He has taken body modification to a level far beyond tattoos and piercings. He’s had his nose and ears removed, his eyes and skin tattooed black, his tongue split, and even two fingers surgically removed. He’s also had horns implanted under his skin and symbols burned into his flesh.

Unsurprisingly, his appearance makes daily life challenging. Reports say he struggles to get jobs, taxi drivers avoid him, and many places refuse him entry. Despite this, Anthony says he feels more like himself after these changes.

In an interview, he shared, “I wasn’t in the right body before. This is who I truly am.” He also revealed he’s only 65% done with his transformation and has even considered replacing one leg with a biomechanical one.

Anthony’s parents were shocked initially but have since supported him. He’s also found love with Melina Shakur, a model and tattoo enthusiast. Together, they’ve talked about possibly removing some of his tattoos in the future.

Because many of his procedures are illegal in France, Anthony often travels to other countries, undergoing surgeries in underground clinics. However, he recently said he plans to pause further modifications for now, saying he wants to focus on living life differently.

While Anthony’s appearance is far from typical, the most important thing is that he’s happy with his choices. His journey may not be for everyone, but it’s a reminder of the diverse ways people express themselves.
